Date probable. Vertol 42Bs F-BFDB and F-BFAX were VIP helicopters 'refused by Washington' and sold to France. At the 1957 Salon they provided an air link between Issy heliport and Le Bourget, operated by Helicop-Air. They then went to the French army as regular H-21Cs and both served in Algeria by 1958. FR31 was sold for scrap in 1968. Photo from: Eric Bannwarth collection
