This classic aircraft was built in 1936. It was discovered in pieces in a barn in Ireland in 2002. After in excess of 10,000 man hours of work over a six year period it returned to the air in November 2008. It is seen early in the morning with the tail just up, departing to its home in Hamburg

1936-built Whitney Straight. Impressed by the RAF in World War Two as EM999. C of A expired in 1966 but flew again in September 2008 after an immaculate restoration.
