Seen preserved at the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune near Edinburgh, Scotland. Built in 1953 by Armstrong Whitworth for the French Air Force as a NF11 serial WM261. Later converted to a NF14. To G-ARCX with the Ferranti Flying Unit in 1960. Preserved at East Fortune since 1973.

The Ferranti Flying Unit based at Edinburgh Airport used this night-fighter Meteor, which was ex WM261, between 1960 and 1973 to test radar equipment and to transport company personnel. The paint scheme of white with a red stripe led to the aircraft being nicknamed 'Mentadent' after the brand of toothpaste.

Built in 1953 as a Meteor NF.11, RAF serial WM261. Used as a trials aircraft by Armstrong-Whitworth and Ferranti. Converted to NF.14 standard as the prototype of that version. Became G-ARCX in 1960, going into operational service at Edinburgh with the Ferranti Flying Unit, as a radar test and development aircraft. Now on static display in Scotland's National Museum of Flight, at East Fortune, East Lothian, where it has been since 1973.

This long-nosed night-fighter Meteor is one of one hundred NF14s produced and served with the RAF as VM261 before joining Ferranti as a radar trials aircraft. It is now on display at the super Natioanl Museum of Flight at East Fortune.

Seen at the Museum of Flight. This aircraft had been based at Manchester Ringway and used by Ferranti for radar trials. Registered in 1960 it was permanently withdrawn from use in 1973. It was previously WM261
