C/n 76. Newly delivered to Westward Airways, who operated it for 18 months. Registration cancelled on 28 November 1973 on sale to Australia as VH-WGQ, then became P2-WGQ, P2-DNB, P2-ALD and (currently in 2022) P2-NAM.

Brand new here and registered to this Newquay based operator only days before. There seemed to be a succession of people trying to make money out of air service to the west country, mostly going broke in the process. Westward lasted until October 1970 and the Islander was then sold on, being exported as VH-WGQ in November 1973 and current as P2-NAM in 2020. The patio outside the GA Terminal was a new feature here.
