One of three six-passenger Sea Eagle flying boats. Supermarine subsidiary British Marine Air Navigation Co started a Southampton to Guernsey service with these on 25 September 1923. Imperial Airways took over in May 1924, using the new Marine Airport facility in Woolston, near the Supermarine factory. The roof probably says 'Continent 1 hour, Channel Islands 1½ h' but the planned service to France did not materialise. Reg is not G-EBCS. Airframe rammed by a ship in the harbour of St Peter Port, Guernsey in January 1927 and wrecked.
