"Nidwalden" was delivered to Swissair on 29 October 1963. When operating SR100 from Kloten to JFK on 6 September 1970, it was hijacked over France and forced to land at the disused Dawson's Field near Zarqa in northern Jordan. Together with other airliners, it was blown up on 13 September 1970.
