The first of 134 ex RAF D.H. Mosquito FB.6 aircraft which were overhauled at Manchester (Ringway) Airport by Fairey Aviation between late 1946 and April 1948 for supply to the Turkish A.F. HR354 departed on its delivery flight this day, becoming TAF 401 on arrival at its destination.
