Delivered to Aero Lloyd in July 1990 as D-ALLP, with various winter leases to Italian airline Allegro Air. To Meridiana in January 1999 as EI-CRJ, reregistered I-SMEN in October 2007. Withdrawn from use and stored at Olbia between October 2017 - January 2018. Stored at Billund in January 2018, where it was partially broken up in October 2023. The forward fuselage has been preserved at the museum at Stauning since 14 October 2023.

This former Meridiana MD-83 was acquired by Danish Air Transport in 2018 and then ferried to Billund. It has been used as a source of spare parts and has been parked at the airport since then.
