Part of the Skyfame Collection's impressive static line-up at the 1975 Gloucestershire Air Show wearing the codes of 416 Sqdn. Skyfame sadly closed at Staverton in January 1978. LA607 made its way to Duxford along with much of the collection and was sold to Kermit Weeks in the Duxford Auction of 14th April 1983. It was registered in the USA as N607LA and moved to Tamiami and later the Fantasy of Flight at Polk City.

First flew as LA607 in 1943. To Cranfield as a ground trainer in 1955 then to the Skyfame Museum at Staverton in 1967. Moved to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford by 1979. Sold to Kermit Weeks as N607LA in 1983 and preserved at the Florida Air Museum, Lakeland, FL. Moved to Polk City in 2014.

Skyfame Museum. Tempest II powered by a Bristol Centaurus radial engine. After being preserved at Lakeland, Florida, now stored at Fantasy of Flight, the restoration of the two Tempests has been put on hold.

Used by the College of Aeronautics to help train tomorrows aircraft engineers. Later to the Staverton museum and now owned by Kermit Weeks.
