Delivered as KC-97G 52-2718 in 1954. Converted to a KC-97L Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1976. Left in 1981 and registered as N1175K. Converted to a C-97G with tanking gear removed. Reregistered as N117GA in 1990. To the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation in 1997. Stored at Greybull, WY from 1998. Restored to airworthy condition and flown to Floyd Bennett Field, NY in 2002 and painted as 45-59595, the only Stratofreighter to fly on the Berlin Airlift. Last flight to Reading, PA for the Mid Atlantic Air Museum in 2017.
