This 1957 freight dog was still hauling freight out of Opa-locka Airport in 2009. This aircraft crashed taking off from OPF on May 2, 2011, killing the pilot.

A 1957-built Beech 18, recently acquired by Aeronautical Services (Friday Harbor, WA), operating a freight flight from the US mainland to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. The company had just taken control of Catalina Flying Boats (Catalina Island, CA), and this Beech would be transferred to that airline a few years later, and based at Long Beach, CA.
