A97-211, marked N2267W, parked at RAAF Richmond, and caught up a scandal that engulfed the disposal of 11 RAAF C-130As. -211 never became N2267W and in 1980 was ferried to RAAF Forest Hill for use as an instructional airframe. It was later flown to RAAF Laverton from where it was sold in the Philippines as RP-C3211 in 1988, 10 years after being retired from squadron service. Peter Ricketts photo
