The Spirit of Alliance owned by Ross Perot Jr. is painted in full immaculate Thunderbird markings. The T-birds were flying the Talon from 1974 to 1982, although January 18, 1982, almost saw the termination of the team, when a malfunction on the lead Talon during a line abreast loop caused 4 aircraft to crash into the Nevada desert during a practice air show.
