Arriving for RIAT. A new type for me.

Textron's 2nd prototype Cessna 408 SkyCourier was apparently here to promote the possibility of a military version. Unlike most built to date, this one is a passenger version, but with the possibility of having the seats removed for other uses.

Deliveries of the Cessna 408 Skycourier commenced in May 2022 to launch customer FedEx. Textron Aviation brought the second prototype Skycourier to Toronto in 19-seat passenger configuration to participate in the static display at the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) Convention 2022 at CYYZ. Earlier this year, one of the prototypes was demonstrated to potential customers in Alaska.
