Used by Boeing as a demonstrator before delivery to Eastern Air Lines as N505EA in 1983. To Airtours as G-PIDS in 1995 who were renamed to MyTravel in 2002. Sold as N304H in 2006 and stored at Laurinburg-Maxton, NC. Still there in 2022.

Became G-PIDS with Airtours on 9 January 1995, cancelled on 14 March 2006 on sale to the USA as N304H. Since stored in Melbourne as a spares source.

On the Boeing 757 European tour. Stopped off at LTN for Monarch to look at. A few days later it was at the Farnborough air show. First flight as N505EA was 02 Feb 1983. Retained by Boeing for a sales tour of Europe in Sep 1982. Delivered to Eastern Airlines on 20 May 1983. To Airtours International as G-PIDS on 09 Jan 1995. Leased to Spanair 01 Nov 1997 to Apr 1998. Noted as MyTravel Airways on 01 May 2002. To Evergreen International as N304H on 14 Mar 2006. Arrived at MXE on 21 Apr 2006 as a spares source. Noted on 15 Nov 2008. Last noted in Aug 2022.

Eastern Air Lines registered Boeing 757-225, 40 years since appearing at Farnborough Air Show 1982

Delivered new 20th May 1983 (already operated on route proving flights on behalf of Boeing a few months beforehand) and withdrawn from use 18th Jan 1991. Seen here with a nosewheel problem on take-off (at a 90 degree angle) which was aborted of course. Became G-PIDS with Airtours 9th Jan 1995

Although records show that it was officially purchased by Eastern in May 83, the aircraft was already operating with them by Dec 82. Some years after the collapse of Eastern it went to Airtours International / My Travel Airways as G-PIDS (with a lease to Spanair in the Winter of 97-98. Retired Nov 2005. Broken up 2007. Total Time 66758 hours and 26887 cycles.

When the 757 was a new and unfamiliar sight, during the first UK tour. Eastern sold N505EA to Airtours in 1.95 becoming G-PIDS. To Evergreen in 3.06 as N304H and stored at Maxton, NC for dismantling
