Sold for a reported £5,500 to Charles Masefield who won the Kings Cup air race in it in 1967 and re-painted it as seen here for the 1968 display season. It returned to the US in 1970 and flew with several owners before becoming N72FT in 1981. It has been based in South Africa as such since 2005.
