Ex N496BC, registered as N709CK on 24 April 2019. Seen here arriving at EMA (East Midlands Airport, England) from LEJ (Leipzig) on route to CVG (Cincinnati), a regular route.

Delivered to Delta as N9900 in 1971. To Flying Tiger Line as N805FT in 1977 and converted to a freighter. Merged into Federal Express in 1989 and reregistered as N625FE in 1990. To Air Hong Kong as VR-HKC in 1993 then to Kalitta as N625PL in 1994. Reregistered as N709CK in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Oscoda, MI in 2010 and scrapped in 2015.

This was a very unusual visitor to Prestwick,it turned up doing a flight for MK Cargo Airlines and is seen here taxiing to stand 7 at the Cargo Terminal.

This photo was taken from the Spectators Terrace .There was only 30 seconds of sun during the entire afternoon and fortunately I caught it on the kalitta 747,the aircraft looks like it is in a spotlight as the foreground and background are in shadow.

Just six weeks earlier, this old cargo Jumbo literally lost its No 1 engine over Lake Michigan, which reminds of the 1992 crash of El Al's 4X-AXG into an apartment block in Amsterdam.
