Christus Health's Flight For Life program has been serving East Texas since 1985 with service today provided within a 150-mile radius of its helicopter bases in Palestine, Longview, Wills Point and Mount Pleasant, TX. PHI Air Medical has been the operator since 2018, with a fleet that includes H145 N745TX based at East Texas Regional Airport, Airbus H135 N380PH and Bell 407s N744TX and N407LN. PHI also operates EMS H145s in Houston, TX and St Louis, MO and is adding three H145s to replace two S-76C++ for the Cleveland Clinic that are based at Burke Lakefront Airport and Wadsworth Airport, OH.
