Delivered to United Ailines as N8081U in 1967. Converted to a DC-8-71 in 1983. Converted to a DC-8-71(F) freighter in 1991 then to Time Air Sweden as SE-DLM in 1992. To Burlington Air Express as N827BX in 1993 who were renamed to BAX Global in 1997. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2002 and later scrapped.

Delivered to UA 5/68 and cvtd to -71 6/83. Sold 4/91 and cvtd to -71(F) 11/91. Later regns include SE-DCM and N827BX.

More than 20 years in service with United, but still going strong! United had their Eights re-engined during the early 1980s, and continued to operate them well into the 1990s. Most were later sold to various operators and converted to freighter. That included N8081U, which became SE-DLM with Time Air Sweden in 1992, and N827BX with Burlington Air Express in 1993. It was sold for scrap in 2004.
