Delivered to the USAF as C-119G 53-7836. Was one of 22 modified to a C-119L. Stored at Davis Monthan AFB with park code CJ452 in 1975. Sold to Dross Metals in 1979. Registered as N8504Z in 1980 and used by a number of operators. Westinghouse J34 roof jet installed in 1989. To Everts Air Fuel in 1994 and stored at Fairbanks. Still current on the register in 2022.

This C-119 has been stored at the Everts boneyard for many years. The question is why since Everts doesn't operate C-119's and the engines would have been either R3350 or R4360's, neither of which Everts would have any use for.

This venerable Flying Boxcar was registered to Everts Air Fuel in Feb 1995, but almost certainly never operated for the company. Note the faded "U.S. Air Force" titles still visible on the forward fuselage (ex 53-7836). It is unclear when the nice nose art was applied.

One of the few Northern Pacific Transport freighters that were not sold to Hawkins & Powers was this C-119G. Instead, this ex USAF 53-7836 was sold to Everts Air Fuel in 1995, and it was stored at Fairbanks, Alaska. By 2015 it was still there, in complete condition.
