Delivered to the RAF as Meteor NF.11 WD592 in 1951. Later converted to a Meteor TT.20. Sold as N94749 in 1974. To the AFFTC Museum, Edwards AFB, CA in 1993.

Owned by Al Letcher & Associates. Delivered to the RAF on 18 Apr 1951 registered WD592 as a NF11 night fighter and later converted to a TT20 target tug. Struck off charge on 20 Jan 1975 and sold to the USA as N94749. Now preserved at Edwards AFB.

Built as NF.11 night fighter WD592 in 1951, this Meteor was used by the A&AEE and 264 Sqn before conversion to TT.20 target tug configuartion. Seen here after service at Hal Far, Malta with the Royal Navy, it was delivered from Biggin to Mojave, CA as N94749 between 18 & 22.6.75 and having been restored in camouflage, is nowadays on display at the Edwards AFFTC Museum
