Built in 1990 by L.Quintens, it was first registered 21-Aug-1990 as OO-970, but already 28-Aug-1990 it was reregistered as OO-123. On 24-Oct-1990 it was registered again as OO-970. The reason for these changes was some confusion if the aircraft belonged in the amateur-built category, or in the ultralight one. There is also some confusion about the cn: from the aircraft it was read off as 01, while the official Belgian register says 02.

Here it is seen in flight, a rare sight to see the famous 1935 Flying Flea airborne in modern times. The construction of the variable-incidence stall-free front wing is clearly visible here. The rear wing is fixed.
