Italian state visit to the Netherlands. The mayor of Rotterdam is waiting at the gangway of the tour boat Pieter Caland as the helicopter lands, with another one approaching. KLM's offshore helicopter branch was initially named KLM Noordzee Helikopters. Later taken over by Schreiner and CHC, the S-61Ns were the largest helicopters in the country for decades, serving for forty years. PH-NZC fatally crashed off Texel on 10 May 1974, however, due to rotor blade failure. Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)
