In Aeroflot polar c/s

Indicating on the forward fuselage that the aircraft has been "Chartered by Balkan". Still in Aeroflot's basic "Arctic" colour scheme. Clearly showing the observation windows of the defensive tail gun position in the original military transport design.

Ex-CCCP-11650, Jordanian Air Force "351", YI-AES, Iraqi Air Force "685". Later LZ-BAG, LZ-BFG, RA-11650, 11650, UN-11650, UP-AN215

Delivered to the Iraqi Air Force as 685 in 1966. To Iraqi Airways as YI-AES by 1974 then to MAP Arsenyev APO as CCCP-11650 in 1990. To Balkan as RA-11650 in 1993. Reregistered as LZ-BAG in 1996. To BF Cargo as LZ-BFG in 1997, Gromov Air as RA-11650 in 2000, Almaty Aviation as UN-11650 in 2003, Air Mark in 2006 and reregistered as UP-AN215 in 2008. Probably scrapped at Phnom Penh in 2013.

"Chartered by Balkan" - from Aeroflot.

Standing in the mud up to it's axles after it had some kind of brake-failure during landing. Not much damage was done and after they pulled it back onto the ramp and repaired it, it was loaded again and left for it's next flight.

A day after it ran off the runway here due to brake problems. But these are strong aircraft, so they just pulled it on to the ramp again and made it ready to load the cargo.
