This SCM-869 (together with serials 860 and 863) from No.2 Heavy Transport Squadron, based at Katunayake had been flown from Sri Lanka to the Ukraine in August 2020 for an extensive overhaul and refurbishment process. The aircraft returned to the SLAF on 11 June 2021.
