This Sea Prince was built in 1952 and flew with 780 sqn at RNAS Culdrose in Cornwall. After SOC it was stored at Kemble (EGBP) and was then preserved at the Gatwick Aviation Museum.

Following the death in Jan 2013 of the museum's owner Peter Vallance, some exhibits went to other museums and collections. But this Sea Prince remained with the museum and was still part of their inventory by Jan 2019.
