Still with the modified nose from its service with A&AEE Boscombe Down. Now stored in the Cobham Hall reserve collection in standard grey/white, with a conventional pointed radome, and carrying the Yeovilton base code VL.

Nowadays in the FAA Museum store with standard nose and RN grey/white paintwork, this Sea Vixen spent much of its flying career on various trials, including night and deck landing, carrying this striking black/white scheme for Martel missile tests from 1968. Only recently withdrawn when seen here, it was often moved, going to Portland, Ilkeston, Southampton and Fleetlands before settling back at Yeovilton
