One of the Army's Blue Eagles display team, due to perform at the 1972 Plymouth Air Show over Plymouth Sound. It was written off during a display training flight on 15 April 1975, rebuilt for static display using parts from XW179, and is now preserved at South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum in Doncaster.
