In 1987 Wardair began a huge expansion into scheduled service, ordering 14 Airbus A310s, 12 MD-80s and 12 Fokker 100s. Only 12 A310s were delivered before the airline was sold to Canadian Airlines in 1989 due to financial distress and the rest cancelled. Photographed with short lived dual titles, this aircraft was sold to the Canadian Air Force along with 4 others in 1992/93. In 2013, this one, now serialed 15001, was painted in a VIP color scheme.
