Building runways is challenging in Norway and DNL acquired five Sandringham flying boats after WWII. LN-IAU is seen operating alongside two diehard seaplane Ju 52s which can just be identified as LN-KAE behind LN-KAF. As far as we can work out, LN-KAF could be either the first (c/n 5489), or the second (c/n 130714) which became the nostalgy bird "D-AQUI" - see photo 70519 for details.
