These are parts of Boeing B-17G 42-38160 "Lonesome Polecat" of 550th sq, 385th BG of the USAAF 8th Air Force. This unit was stationed at Great Ashfield airbase, UK. The Flying Fortress ditched in Lake Zug, Switzerland after it had been hit by German fighters on 16 March 1944. The wreckage was raised from the lake in August 1952. It was initially displayed in St. Moritz, but scrapped in 1972/1973. Dutchman mr. Dam managed to acquire some parts which he later donated to CRASH.

This 2005 built King Air has here recently arrived from Medicine Hat/AB (CYXH) using call-sign "Mustang (MST) 80". It carries the KF Aerospace logo on the tail instead of the one for Allied Wings as previously, so the operator contract must have changed hands.
