Delivered to the USAAF as 42-23838 in 1943. To NC49538 in 1946, N49538 after 1948, N7V then N3W in 1951, N3PG in 1954, N308FN in 1969, CF-EEX in 1973, C-FEEX in 1979, N2669A in 1982, EC-187 then EC-FNS in 1992, N47FK in 1995 and HK-4700X then HK-4700 in 2010. Destroyed in a fatal crash into a mountain in Colombia in 2014.

Apologies for the poor quality, photo not taken with my usual equipment. This was during a series of 60th Liberation Day Airwar Memorial fly-bys, organised by and at the CRASH Museum, then located in Lisserbroek. Harvards PH-MLM / B-71 and PH-IIB / B-118, and Beech 18 PH-KHV / G-29 did the first fly-bys, followed two hours later by this "Fifi Kate" and KLM Cessna 172 PH-OTK as camera ship. Two more hourse later the BoB Memorial Flight Lancaster PA474 also did a fly-by at the museum. This was the only "airshow" ever to be held here.

Owned by UK-based European Flyers (Tony Holden), but was based at Lelystad shortly before its appearance here at the Airshow Lelystad 2004. The aircraft remained at Lelystad until 16 May 2006, when it departed for the USA. In 2010 it was sold to Colombia, where it unfortunately met its fate when it crashed into a mountain near San Vicente del Caguán, Caqueta in Colombia on 8 May 2014.
