What makes this photo unusual is the Australian National Airways logo. UYB was owned by ANA but the ANA logo on the fin has been changed to AOA aka Airlines of Australia. ANA owned AOA which continued to operate as a separate airline until 1942 on services north of Brisbane. Ross Plains airport was opened in 1930.
