First 720 built. N7201U was sold to Contemporary Entertainment, owned by singer Bobby Sherman and his manager, Ward Sylvester, in January 1973. It was first painted in a gold and black livery and christened "The Starship". As a VIP transport, it was used by rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, Bob Dylan and Elton John. John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, and Cher were passengers at one time or another. Still carrying Gary Wright stickers after its use by the singer. N7201U was most famously Led Zeppelin's tour jet in the 1970s, featuring in the band's concert movie "Song Remains the Same". Starship One was scrapped in 1982.
