Also has the c/n VAFA.01. Built at Weybridge in 1965/66, and first flown at Wisley on 14 June 1966. Presented to the RAF Museum on 10 June 1968, and last flown at the Royal Review at RAF Abingdon on 14 June 1968. Now on display in the Graham White Factory Building at the RAF Museum, Hendon. Registration cancelled on 27 February 1969 as permanently withdrawn from use.

Though a replica, this is a truly magnificent exhibit in the Grahame-White Factory Exhibition Hall at the Royal Air Force Museum. The type first flew on 17th July 1914 and was a two-seat pusher configuration

Flying replica of the 1914 Vickers FB.5 Gunbus. Named "Bombay (2)" on its nacelle. Painted in Royal Flying Corps markings. It flew between 1966 and late 1968 and is now in the RAF Museum at Hendon.

The Vickers company began thinking about air-to-air fighting in 1912, and came up with pusher aircraft to avoid firing at one's own propeller. It went wrong in building two-seaters with a flexible gun, however, and the Gunbus, which first flew in July 1914 and first fought a German aircraft on Christmas Day, 1914, was too slow to be an effective fighter. This replica was once airworthy as G-ATVP.
