With RJX100 E3378 G-IRJX behind

In use as a training and familiarisation airframe for BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. The aircraft had been sitting around at Woodford for years after the RJX programme was cancelled and had been used for training. It then had the wings and tail cut off and the fuselage, one wing and the tail were roaded up to Prestwick two months previously.

Awaiting unloading and back on to its own wheels after being roaded up from Woodford. Wings and tail have been sawn off and tail and one wing kept, the other being scrapped. Kept by BAE Systems Regional Aircraft for trial installations of modifications, customer visits and as a Christmas tree. Eventually will be put back complete (fuselage only) and be able to be powered up with systems working as far as possible.

Nose section of RJX85 E2396 (G-6-396) originally destined for Druk Air before the programme was cancelled and the already built aircraft were scrapped. This nose section was retained for a while as it was going to be used to repair RJ85 N528XJ (E2353) which had run into a jetway at Memphis. This plan was ditched as too expensive or complicated. Nose is now at the museum in Filton along with other sections of various RJXs to make a mock-up production line.

In the process of dismantling after the RJX programme was cancelled having never flown. Wings have already been sawn off. This would have taken up Class "B" registration of G-6-395 and the aircraft was for Druk Air.
