Built for the RAF as an Auster AOP.6, WJ401, in 1952. Shipped to Singapore 1953 & saw active service with 656 Sqn RAF until returned to UK 1956 for conversion to T.Mk 10. Sold & civil registered as Terrier Series 1 G-AVYU on 24th November 1967. Owned by RAF Gliding & Soaring Association, RAF Bicester until struck-off register 6 May 1975. Sold to Australia 1978 & registered VH-BGL(3) on 11 October 1999.

Rebuilt from Auster AOP6 VX113 in 1961. It was still current in 2022, flying in Army marks as VX113, but damaged in a landing accident at Fowlmere on 7 June 2022. Moved to St Athan in August 2022 for assessment by Horizon Aircraft Services, and from there to SWAM on 4 March 2023. A 'No Flight' declaration was made on 25 October 2022.

Photographed at the Yorkshire Air Museum Night Shoot. Actually this plane wasn't part of the shoot, rather it was moved to the side to the side of the hangar to enable the resident Mosquito to be photographed.
