Ten T-35s were armed with machine guns and rockets and delivered to the Royal Saudi Arabian AF in 1953. After retirement they were stored at the edge of Jeddah AB but gradually deteriorated over time. Fortunately, enough parts could be salvaged to build a complete example and the Saudis donated a C-130 to fly the parts to Dobbins AFB after which they were trucked to Athens and restored to this make this beautiful example now on display at the Swift Museum.

By 1947, Temco owned Globe Aircraft and in 1949 had modified one Swift GC-1B into a tandem two seat low cost military trainer. When the USAF held a competition for a new basic trainer in 1950, Temco added a few improvements and built two more aircraft for the competition designated YT-35 Buckaroo. The USAF bought the Beechcraft T-35 and the three Temco aircraft were eventually sold as surplus. This Buckaroo was originally 50-0740.

The TE-1 Buckaroo was developed from the basic Temco GC-1 Swift design as a tandem two-seat trainer. A few were bought by the USAF as the T-35A, but no other contracts were placed. A small number went to the Saudi AF. This is a rare survivor of the type.
