K25 slide scan. Built 1965 as Il-18V DM-STI for East German Air Force in Interflug colours. Transferred to Interflug 1974, modernized to Il-18D late 1970's, reregistered DDR-STI 1981 and D-AOAP 1990. Berline D-AOAP 1991, converted to Il-18GrM Freighter, ceased operations 1994. German European 1994, not operated. Viola Avia Trans RA-75554 (2) 1995. Ramaer 1997, damaged beyond repair Johannesburg 17 December 1997 overrunning runway in aborted overweight take off.

Delivered to and operating for the Romanian Government as YR-IMZ from 1967 until 1999 this Il-18 eventualy was sold to the Sri Lankan company Expo Aviation as 4R-EXD. The name changed to ExpoAir in 2005 and FitsAir in 2013 before being sold to NPP Mir as 54006 in 2017. It was unfortunatly damaged in a landing accident at Narjan-Mar Russia 23 November 2018 and abandoned there.

Acquired Dec 90 ex Interflug D-AOAT, DDR-STN and DM-STN. To Polonia Airways Mar 96 as SP-FNZ. To Air Cess in 1997 as 3D-SBZ. Destroyed in an air raid by the Zimbabwe Air Force at Kalemie DRC 23 Nov 98.

Note the Cargo titles and freight door. I believe this was the first ever Il-18 to be fitted with a large side caro door.
