The Dewoitine D.750 was a prototype twin-engined torpedo bomber. It was designed to operate from the aircraft carrier Joffre of the French Navy, but only a single example was completed and flown before France's defeat in June 1940. No less rare is the only Dewoitine D 770 built, which would have been a light bomber for the French air force, visible at the back of the hangar. Pic from friends family collection. The D.750 was a three-seat twin-engined torpedo bomber designed for the planned Joffre class aircraft carriers. The prototype first flew on 6 May 1940, a few days before the German invasion in France which ended the project.
