Potez 25 production was very important: Around 2,400 were delivered to the French Air Force and Aéronavale between 1926 and 1934, while a further 1,500 were sold for export, built in France or under license in Portugal, Yugoslavia and Romania. This one, part of French air force, has the 3rd escadrille (Sal 32) markings of Groupe d'Observation 2/35 . Photo from A.Littolff family album and published with her permission.

This unique aircraft re-designated D 570 from the former D 560 ,was a modified prototype which entered in flight test on 27 November 1933. When flew back to Francazal from Villacoublay on 21 December it suffered an aileron failure and was destroyed killing its test pilot. It stopped definitely the program and only one aircraft was produced. Pic from friends family collection..

A rare and ephemeral sight...a French Air Force Transall wearing Moroccan roundels! This happened when France provided logistical support to the 1500 Moroccan soldiers deployed to Zaire to help the Zaire government fight Katanga rebels. It seems that these roundels were not worn by the Transall for more than a day....

This airplane was initially a Morane 130 and owned by the famous aerobatic French pilot Michel Detroyat during the 30's. It was completely transformed, fitted with a new Hispano Suiza engine and then became the MS 234/2, Michel Detroyat's exclusive model, with which he participated in numerous events in France and America until 1938. This pic is supposed to have been taken between 1933 & 1935 in Toulouse -Montaudran airfield. Thanks to Raphael W. who permit to have it in my collection and share this rare photo.

The Latécoère 490 was a two-seat, single-engined designed to be a photographic reconnaissance aircraft for French air force. He was not selected. Only two prototypes were built. The Latécoère 490 was a two-seat, single-engined designed to be a photographic reconnaissance aircraft for French air force. He was not selected. Only two prototypes were built. The Latécoère 490 was originally known and painted as the 49.0 as it is on the pic. The second prototype was the 491 version. Thanks to Raphael W. who permit to share this very rare photo.

The Dewoitine D.35 was a single-engine light transport aircraft built and flown by Dewoitine in France for their own use . Only one was produced. In 1933 it became the personal aircraft of Dewoitine's chief test pilot (Marcel Doret). Its fate after 1937 is unknown but some sources report it could have gone to Spain for republican government use during the Spanish Civil War. Pic from friends family collection. The Dewoitine D.750 was a prototype twin-engined torpedo bomber. It was designed to operate from the aircraft carrier Joffre of the French Navy, but only a single example was completed and flown before France's defeat in June 1940. No less rare is the only Dewoitine D 770 built, which would have been a light bomber for the French air force, visible at the back of the hangar. Pic from friends family collection.
