During the delivery of both Dantorps to Denmark, the aircraft made a precautionary landing on the leg from Amsterdam to Copenhagen after one of them aircraft suffered engine trouble near the German islands. 202 tipped over on its nose during the landing and was damaged. The Dantorp was a three-seat variant of the Hawker Horsley. Two examples were delivered to the Danish navy and used extensively with wheels and floats. Torpedo bombing was found to be difficult and anyway, licenced construction of ten more aircraft here at the Orlogsværftet naval yard did not go ahead.
