This Waco arrived with F19, the Swedish volunteer squadron in Finland during the Winter War, on this day. The photo is assumed taken at the unit's main base which was on Ajos Island, with the runways on the frozen sea arm. Formerly a DQC-6, NC16515. To Sweden late in 1938 as SE-AHM, owner Kurt Björkvall naming it Imbrim after the trawler which rescued him when he ditched in the Atlantic in Bellanca SE-AFG. After the Winter War the Waco formally joined the Swedish air force as a Tp8A, s/n 914, wearing SE-AHM in 1944 pictures. Ditched into the Baltic on 8 August 1948 and sank.
