A Convair R4Y-1 when delivered to the US Navy, this aircraft was later converted to a VC131F. Retired in 1986 and stored ar AMARC, it was allotted registration N14094 in 2000 and acquired by Kelowna Flightcraft. The aircraft was converted to a Convair 5800 by 2004 and registered C-FKFS . Operated by Air Freight NZ as ZK-KFS 2004 - 15, it returned to Kelowna Flightcraft Air Charter as C-FKFS.

Seen on a rare visit to Heathrow this Convair was built in 1956 and remained in service until 1983 when it was retired to Arizona. It was purchased by Everts in 1999 and ferried to Fairbanks as N2409R where it had its engines stripped and was cancelled in 2008. Scanned from a slide.
