New kid on the block is the JF-17C, better known as the "Block 3". The armament displayed on and in front of this aircraft giving a clue of its capabilities.

Three Thunders were present at the show, two Block IIs of the 16 Multi-Role Squadron "Black Panthers", based at Kamra (Minhas) air base, and this Block III (on the static) that belonged to 18(OCU)sq "Sharp Shooters", from Bholari air base. The Block III is the most modern variant of the JF-17 and is equipped with, among others, an EASA radar as well as a 3-axis digital fly-by-wire flight control system, an infrared search and track system and a helmet-mounted display and sight system, a larger HUD and an advanced missile approach warning system.
