Took part in the closing months of World War II with the 62nd Bomb Squadron at Guam and named Timely Reminder. Reportedly scrapped at Robins AFB in 1954, but clearly that is not the case. [By coincidence this and the RAF Comet behind both have serials ending in 716.]

According to published data this aircraft was scrapped at Tinker AFB in December 1954. Clearly this is not the case as it is here as large as life with a tail emblem from the 420 Air Refueling Squadron stationed at RAF Sculthorpe in the mid-1950s.

The triangular unit markings on the tail are a medium brown background, with a yellow cube pattern. This B-29 variant was based at Sulthorpe at the time.
