The Searchmaster was primarily used by Indonesia for maritime reconnaissance, but several of this Nomad version were also purchased by the US Customs Service for border patrol duties, including this aircraft. A total of 170 Nomads were built in Australia by 1984 when production ended.

Seen at DCA in March, 1985 while on it's U.S. tour. Later modified to an N22B for the RAAF as A18-316

The United States Customs Service was ones the owner of no less than seven GAF Nomad Searchmasters which they primarily operated from Florida throughout the 1990s. The six that were left by the end of 1999 / early 2000, were eventually sold of which four to Dodson International Aircraft Parts. N6313P is one of those four and is seen here in Dodsons yard at Rantoul (KS).

Formerly with Aerospace Technologies as VH-HVZ. To the US Customs Services in March 1989 as N6328. Restored in the the latter livery in 1998.
