The Imperial War Museums gives the location of this photo as "Holland, late 1944". There is debate that this aircraft was shot down on September 14, 1944. The confusion is whether this aircraft or EJ695 was W2-Y. At the time 80 Squadron was based in Belgium. This photo clearly shows EJ705 was W2-X. EJ705 is also shown as lost on March 11, 1945 at Volkel. That scenario better fits the IWM date and location. Photo from: Imperial War Museums
