An L-10C Electra probably photographed when new in 1935. The reason for its visit to the Ryan company is unknown. Behind it is NC9243, the 1929 Curtiss Robin that Douglas 'Wrong Way' Corrigan flew across the Atlantic in 1938 and was owned by him from 1933. The L-10 briefly served with Pan Am's subsidiary in Cuba, registered NM-12, but joined Pan Am's Pacific Alaska Airways later in 1935. NC14906 went back to Cuba in 1946 as NM-26, later CU-T12. In 1959 it became N2628 with Mountain Airlines from Burbank. Fate unknown. Photo from: San Diego Air & Space Museum
