Damaged beyond repair landing at Congo Town Airport, Bahamas, in November 1986. The following extract is taken from the ASN report: Reportedly the engines lost power due to fuel starvation, and the pilot put it down on a closed airport runway. The aircraft wasn't low on fuel but may have had bad check valves which permitted the fuel to be inadvertently transferred to a tank not in use.

Delivered new to Slick Airways August 6, 1958 as N7822C. Named "Monte Cristy", this DC-6 was DBR at Congotown, Bahamas with it's next operator in November 1986.
